Pregnant? Can’t Sleep?

If you’re pregnant, there’s a better than average chance you’ll have trouble sleeping at some point. The National Sleep Foundation’s 1998 research project found that 78% of pregnant women experience some sort of sleep issue. And if you’re reading this blog entry in the middle of the night, that sleeplessness might be happening right now.

It’s normal. Your body is going through incredible hormonal changes, and you might be battling heart burn, nausea, and a constant need to pee.

You’re not alone. Plus, each trimester of your pregnancy brings with it different and unique problems. Luckily, by adjusting your sleep positions slightly, managing when and how much water you drink, or adding a nap to your day, you might be able to get more sleep.
